Priceline 40% off Haul!

Hi guys!

So if you don’t already know, Priceline had a 40% off all cosmetics sale on Tuesday and Wednesday last week and that sent many of us Australian beauty enthusiasts crazy in the shops. I must be one of the last few beauty bloggers to share my haul with everyone and I’m so sorry for being so slow with it! ><

Priceline 40% off cosmetics

My humble Priceline haul!

I got quite a few items in this haul: Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream in Light Beige, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser for Dark Circles concealer in Medium, Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in 07 Nude-ist and the Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in Crush. I actually also got a Nude by Nature Mineral Powder Starter Kit in Medium (last on the shelf! yay!) and I totally forgot to take a photo of it! I’m so terrible :( But here’s a photo of  the kit and what it contains:

What’s in the kit: Undercover Airbrush Mineral Primer, Natural Mineral Cover, Mineral Bronzer, Mineral Finishing Veil, Kabuki Brush

The Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream and Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser for Dark Circles (that was quite a mouthful!) have been widely raved and reviewed by beauty bloggers around the world so I won’t go into too much detail about them. I did swatch the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream before getting it and I was pretty impressed by its consistency, so I’m excited to see how it looks on my face :)

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet 07 Nude-ist

Moving onto the lip products, I was so happy that I got the last brand new tube of the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in 07 Nude-ist! Don’t you guys just love that feeling when you manage to score the last item on the shelves?? It’s even better when that item is on 40% off!

I first saw this shade on a beauty blogger’s MOTD look and I thought it would make a beautiful everyday lip colour, especially during the colder months that’s coming up. This is how it looks like when swatched:

Bourjois Rouge Edition Nude-ist

My other lip product is also one that I bought with the expectation that I’ll be wearing it heaps when Autumn/Winter arrives in the Southern Hemisphere.

Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain Crush

Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in 005 Crush

This is my first Revlon Balm Stain and at first I thought that Crush would be a bit too deep for my lips but after swatching it in the store, it didn’t come out as heavy as I imagined it to be. I wanted to get a lip colour that I don’t already have and this was also the last brand new item on its shelf so that was probably the deciding factor for me :D

Crush when swatched

It looks sort of like a nice plum shade on my skin but is not too dramatic so it’ll be great to wear this during Autumn/Winter on a daily basis.

I can’t remember the individual prices I got all of these for, but I do know that these cost me about A$80 altogether and my Nude by Nature Mineral Kit was about A$35 down from its original price of A$60! Full priced makeup is SO EXPENSIVE in Australia it just makes me sad when I hear about how much you guys can get Maybelline and MAC for in the States :(

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed this little haul! I’ll be sure to feature these products in my MOTD looks and let you know what I think of them :)

Have a great week ahead! <3

Wow Lovely haul, Soph! I went yesterday at Priceline too and they offer great deals on some of make up products there! I really want to get Nude products that time but am a bit hesitant I might not like it. I hope you’ll give a proper review about it and also in each items you got from Hauling!

    • hunnybunnysoph says:

Thanks Raine! I haven’t tried Nude before too but my friend highly recommended it so I thought I’d try them :D I’ll review them for sure but it won’t be so soon because I’m moving house in April and they’re packed away for now >< I've started using a couple more items from my Singapore haul too and will have reviews coming up soon! Hehe I'm happy that you enjoy reading my reviews! <3

      • Raine says:

Haha its all right! No pressure at all! Yeah I love your reviews and photos too! :) Have fun moving out, gorgeous! :-)

So upset that I missed out on this! Was after quite a few things as well, and just completely forgot that Priceline was having 40% off. I hope they do it again soon, if not, then you’ll find me at chemist warehouse XD

    • hunnybunnysoph says:

Oh no!! :( Such a shame! I don’t get the emails for some reason but my colleague told me about it so I went during lunch break, otherwise I would’ve missed out too :( I keep thinking most shops would have a mega sale in June for EOFY, but otherwise Priceline would have another one in Nov I think. If you’re looking to get theBalm products, David Jones is having a mid-season sale now and I saw that theBalm products are 30% off now! :)

      • peppermintgirrl says:

Ooo thanks for the tip about theBalm! I’ll have a good search in David Jones. I only head about the 40% off till the last evening. I wish it included hair products as well!

      • hunnybunnysoph says:

Yeah I don’t usually see the hair products going on 40%, I’ve only seen cosmetics and skincare being included. Perhaps once in a while they will have the 3 for 2 promo for hair products? Hehe I hope you find good buys at David Jones! That’ll make up for missing out on the Priceline promo :) <3

    • hunnybunnysoph says:

Hehe yes you do need to swatch that! I just used it this morning and love the colour on my lips so much. It looks a little less plum on my lips but still a soft and muted colour. And it’s not sticky at all! I’m in love with this lippy now <3

I love snagging the last item on the shelf whenever there’s a sale going on. I somehow convince myself that “It was meant to be” whenever that happens, lol.
Maybelline Age Reward eraser concealer is my HG under eye concealer, that stuff makes me look ALIVE! (which is no small feat!)

    • hunnybunnysoph says:

Hahaha yes such a great feeling! Even better when you realise that you got to it before others do.. I feel bad but proud of myself at the same time :P
I’m pretty excited to experience that Maybelline Concealer and see if I’ll understand what everyone is hyping about! :D

That’s an awesome Nude starter kit, Soph! Have you always wanted a mineral makeup? Or do you use any at the moment prior buying the Nude kit? I sure did enjoy this read. Have you tried the CC cream yet? :)

    • hunnybunnysoph says:

Yep I’ve always been curious about mineral make up then I bought the ModelCo mineral powder. It was alright but my friend kept raving about Nude so I got very interested in it. Hehe no I haven’t got to the CC Cream but I’ve tried the Bourjois Rouge Lippie and OMG I love it!! <3

      • The Simple Beginner says:

Velvet lippie! How’s the texture on your lips? Have you tried the Rimmel Apocalips Matte? They’re raved about for a velvety finish. It’s awesome how friends can influence you on amazing products and are curious and excited to try! Great work Soph! Ps. If you’re into Rimmel products, it says Big W is having a 50% off sale from Thursday 2 April! :)

      • hunnybunnysoph says:

The Bourjois lippie is soooo good it really is like velvet on the lips! I love it. Omg I’m so glad I didn’t pick up any Rimmel products when I was in Target yesterday!! Hahha thanks for the tip Jan! It’s a sign for me to check out the Rimmel Apocalips Matte now… :P

      • The Simple Beginner says:

Yay! But can you believe they’re 50% off!! Like who does!! I’ve done my pledge and I’ll stick to it! Goodbye makeup, goodbye Rimmel! Why must you do this to me now!! X

      • hunnybunnysoph says:

Haha 50% off is indeed very very tempting! Sigh all these makeup brands are always finding ways and means to get us to part with our money >< You're really good to be sticking with your makeup ban! I'm cheering you on Jan! :D x
