I know it’s not even the end of February now but I’m just too excited to share the beauty products I got so I’m doing a haul part one post now :P
I ordered my goodies from Luxola a week ago and they’ve arrived today, just in time before I leave. After watching numerous videos by beauty bloggers using the make up products, I decided to try purchasing from them. This is actually my second purchase and for my first purchase I bought a blush and mascara of which I did a review here. They stock quite a few good brands such as Sigma Beauty, Dr Jart and also up and coming brands such as Zoeva. They also have promotions quite frequently, often ranging from 15% to 30% discounts on full priced products. Both my purchases were made during 20-30% off promotions so the prices of the products came up to be pretty cheap :)
1. Luscious Angel Eyes Primer
I got this eyeshadow primer since my UD eyeshadow primer is finishing and I always love trying out new products. Have not heard of this brand prior to Luxola but looking at the reviews it seems like it is effective in preventing creases and works well on oily eyelids. The packaging looks pretty and it is only a fraction of what the UD primer costs so I’ll just see how this turns out.
2. Sleek MakeUp Face Form – Light
Watching/reading all the beauty bloggers talk about contouring is making me cave in to it too! I don’t contour my face when I put on make up for fear that I might overshadow my face and end up looking ridiculous. And highlighting my inner eye corner and browbone is just about as far as I go with highlighting. But this little contouring kit has got contour, highlight and bronze/blush all in one for a sweet price of A$20, I thought why not? It has received plenty of great reviews especially from people new to contouring so this might be a good product for me to start with. I also love that it’s so compact and great for travelling.
3. Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette – Naked Truth
I wasn’t looking for an eyeshadow palette when I was shopping on Luxola, mainly because I’ve set my sights on the UD Naked Basics when I’m in Singapore. I stumbled upon this and thought this would make a great palette for an everyday look in the office. I like how the browbone shade could double up as a nose highlighter, and that the dark brown could be used as an eyebrow filler for dark haired people like myself. This will also be great to have while travelling.
That’s it for now, I will still be in Singapore for a week so follow my blog if you’d like to receive first hand updates on my adventures! You can also follow me on Instagram @hunnybunnysoph
Have a great week everyone!
